About Josh
Josh Jimenez began his musical journey at the age of four. He then began studying with Zerrin Kostem, who would become his longtime piano teacher. By age five, Josh would begin performing in recitals, and would eventually develop a deep love and passion for classical music. Josh continued his music education, attending UCLA and graduating Magna Cum Laude in Music Education. This included comprehensive music history ranging from early music to the 21st century, advanced musicianship, ear training, dictation, and music theory.
Josh has performed a number of solo works and chamber music from the classical music canon ranging from the Baroque period to the 20th Century. He has also worked with as assistant music director in high school musical productions such as Les Miserables and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.
